Papa Dudut, Born Renzmark Jairuz Ricafrente

Long before millions of listeners knew him as Papa Dudut, Renzmark Jairuz Ricafrente was on the air in Lucena under another name, Papa Piolo, at DWQL. He later took the name Papa Dudut at Barangay LS 97.1, GMA Network’s flagship FM station in Metro Manila.

At Barangay LS he became the host of Barangay Love Stories, the weekly radio drama built on letters from listeners about love, life, and hope. After seventeen years on radio, the show premiered as a television anthology on GMA on September 12, 2026.

Off the main show, he is the voice-over of GMA’s Family Feud and the author of Dear Papa Dudut, a collection of the best stories from the program. His story archive is a nightly stop for Filipinos at home and abroad and the home of Papa Dudut Stories, Papa Dudut Horror, and the documentary series Dokyu sa Dilim.
